Community Fundraising Events

uchc-community-events.jpgBowl-a-thons. Bike rides for charity. Golf tournaments. These, and many other fundraising events held in our communities, help support the University of Connecticut and UConn Health every year with a donation from event proceeds. From large events like the Comcast NBC Connecticut Jim Calhoun Cancer Challenge Ride and Walk to family-centered fundraisers, many donors choose to support the mission of the University in this fashion.

The University of Connecticut Foundation is grateful for the support of community organizations, and we want to ensure that community fundraising events are conducted in compliance with all applicable laws. That is why we require community organizations to complete an event registration form at least 90 days prior to their event, and submit it to the UConn Foundation for review and approval.

To assist community organizations in planning their fundraising event, the Foundation has provided the event registration form and volunteer guidelines below. For further information, please contact Betsy Pigeon, Associate Director of Donor Relations.
