Helping UConn grow is one major benefit of working at the Foundation—but you’ll find it’s the first of many.

The UConn Foundation, Inc., is a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that exists to support the University of Connecticut. We are not a state employer.

Our core hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.—but among our many benefits is the ability to create a flexible schedule, based on childcare and other employee needs.

Here are just a few of the other benefits we provide:

Medical, dental, and vision plans, as well as Employee Assistance Program services. We also offer flexible spending accounts, including limited flexible spending accounts and dependent care accounts.

Basic term life insurance, AD&D, and short-term and long-term disability plans, provided by the Foundation. We also offer supplemental group term life insurance and AD&D, and dependent group term life insurance and AD&D.

A 403(b) retirement plan through TIAA-CREF with a contribution from the Foundation, as well as education and retirement assistance for your family.

Employee and dependent tuition reimbursement after one year of employment.

A generous time off policy that includes personal days in addition to accrued sick and vacation time. We also offer 11 paid federal holidays each year.

Professional development opportunities and, after one year of employment, tuition assistance for UConn courses.

Several fun staff recognition events per year—previous events have included a summer party and a Thanksgiving celebration.
