Inspired by UConn’s commitment to developing active global citizens, Community Outreach’s mission is to engage students in meaningful service activities that enrich their learning and enhance the quality of life for others in our local, national, and international communities.
Student leaders are an integral part of the success of Community Outreach programs as all CO programs are student-led with over 100 students holding formal leadership positions. They design and implement activities that meet client needs and recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and work-study employees.
