Dodd Impact Fund

Gifts to the Dodd Impact Fund provide immediate support for human rights by supporting the operating costs of the Dodd Center Outreach Programming under the umbrella of the Vice Provost for Global Affairs.

Gifts to Dodd Human Rights Impact (Dodd Impact), provide support for the operating costs and Dodd Impact outreach and engagement programs. Twenty-five years after the dedication of the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center, the human rights outreach and engagement programs of the Center relaunched as Dodd Human Rights Impact (Dodd Impact) in fall 2020. To build on and leverage the synergies of UConn’s human rights programs, Dodd Impact joined the Human Rights Institute (HRI), situated in the University of Connecticut’s Office of Global Affairs, to create one of the most dynamic centers of human rights teaching, research, and engagement anywhere in the world. As part of HRI, Dodd Impact connects the energy and expertise of human rights faculty and students to the community in Connecticut and around the world.
