Women’s Center

Gifts to the Women’s Center provide support to supplement programs at the Women’s Center.

The Women’s Center was born from the efforts of the Free Women’s Collective. In our early years, we housed a number of collectives, including the Arts Collective, the Black Women’s Collective, the Health Collective, and the Rape Crisis Collective. And our commitment and our accountability to our many and varied constituencies continues in our work on campus today.

Your gift can support The Women’s Center General Fund on this page or our 100 Years of Women Scholarship Fund below.

The Women’s Center General Fund supports:

  • Student participation in a variety of out-of-class academic experiences, such as regional and national conferences;
  • Networking and professional development opportunities to enhance the recruitment and retention of women of color staff and faculty;
  • Enhanced programming for supporting women in STEM fields; and/or
  • Program development around issues of gender equity and social justice on campus, such as our continued work through our Violence Against Women Prevention Program to educate our community on and advocate for the prevention of sexual assault, dating violence, stalking, and sexual harassment on campus.
