Alumna Gives Dental School's Largest Gift

Kate Burr '85

Dr. Burr and her spouse will be paying it forward to UConn School of Dental Medicine students with the largest gift ever committed to the school.

Peter Werth

"UConn is a very special place for me and my family; my son went to school there. Over the years, I have been fortunate to know a lot of people that have received a great education from the University of Connecticut. I firmly believe that students who attend UConn leave as much better and well-rounded people who are prepared for the real world by the time they graduate."

Gabby Cuevas

"I am so proud that I have a chance to lace up my cleats and represent this great university each time I wear the Husky uniform. Without the generosity of Coach Morrone, this would not have been possible. I can't thank him enough for making my dreams become a reality. I am proud to say I am a Husky for life."
