Bhagwan Neminath Jain Faculty and Academic Programming Endowment

Gifts to the Bhagwan Neminath Jain Faculty and Academic Programming Endowment provide financial support for programmatic enhancements at the University’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Gifts to the Bhagwan Neminath Jain Faculty and Academic Programming Endowment will be used to enhance the study of Jain Darshan (philosophy involving the nature of Atma/soul and Dravya/matter) through its core values of Ahimsa (non-violence), Anekantavada (multiple views/pluralism), and Aparigraha (need versus greed/ecology awareness). Such allocation will include, but not be limited to, support for faculty and student research, conferences, lectures, workshops, symposia, and curriculum development related to Jain principles and philosophy (Darshan), Jain practice of Ahimsak diet (vegetarian/vegan), and Jain history.
