The Connecticut Institute of Water Resources scholarship funds undergraduate students in the college who have an interest in water resources and financial need. The Institute supports research to address current water issues in the state and helps train students who will become professionals in water-related careers. The Institute further provides outreach assistance to residents of the state on a variety of water topics. The scholarship was initiated by Professor Jack Clausen using royalties from his text “Introduction to Water Resources”. This scholarship supports students with an interest in water resources enrolled in any department of the College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources.
