This scholarship has been established by the friends, colleagues, and family of Deborah Lyn McIntosh to honor her long commitment to the success of the biology departments and to provide an opportunity for students that are struggling financially in the pursuit of their education. To be eligible, candidates must meet the following criteria: be a continuing student enrolled in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences majoring in Biological Sciences, Ecology & Evolutionary Biology, Molecular and Cell Biology, or Physiology & Neurobiology and be in good academic standing with at least a 3.0 GPA. Preference will be given to first-generation college students and members of groups that are underrepresented at the University.
Deborah Lynn McIntosh Memorial Scholarship in Biology
Gifts to the Deborah Lyn McIntosh Memorial Scholarship in Biology fund provide scholarship support for continuing students majoring in the Biological Sciences, EEB, Molecular and Cell Biology, or Physiology and Neurobiology with minimum 3.0 GPA. Preference is given to first-generation college students and members of underrepresented groups.
