Gifts to the Emotional Intelligence Education Fund will be used for programmatic support of the first-year experience (FYE) including but not limited to curriculum development, student life programming, speaker fees, workshops and traveling.

Gifts to the John L. Hodson Scholarship Fund providing scholarship support for students enrolled in the University; and
demonstrate participation in or involvement with the Rainbow Center, a cultural center that serves the University’s diverse community of gender identities, gender expressions, and romantic and sexual orientations by fostering student personal growth, leadership development, community engagement; and providing resources, services, education, training, and advocacy.

Gifts to the John M. Biancamano, Jr. ’70, ’88 Baseball Scholarship Fund provide scholarship support for an incoming or continuing undergraduate student-athlete enrolled at the University; be a member of the varsity baseball program; demonstrate academic potential; preference to School of Business students.

Gifts to the Kristin and Richard Schwab Fund for Service Learning in the Landscape Architecture Program will be used exclusively to support the University by providing financial support for the University’s College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources’ Landscape Architecture program, to fund faculty led University projects or University-approved student research that incorporates service learning and community engagement.

Gifts to the Hartford Residential Scholars Enhancement Fund provide financial support for the establishment and maintenance of a university residence experience in Hartford by providing student scholarship support to cover costs of attendance.

Gifts to The Robert E. and Gladys B. Dunn International Fund support the University by providing financial support for the Neag School of Education, including student scholarships, and research programs conducted by full-time faculty members related to international studies or global issues.
