On Saturday, July 11, the UConn Foundation welcomed 30 volunteers to its first-ever Volunteer Summer Social.
Throughout the year, these volunteers have dedicated their time and energy to hosting programs in their networks, supporting campus events, mentoring students, and creating …meaningful connections across the UConn community.

Some Huskies head to Florida for the sunshine, but we know they’re really there for volunteers like Adrienne Pollard '95 (CLAS).
A constant source of Husky pride, Adrienne brings alumni together year-round, creating opportunities to connect and cheer on both our Men’s and …Women’s basketball teams.
And her impact goes far beyond game day. Most recently, she led a group of alumni in a service project at Feeding Tampa Bay, where they helped sort and package food and essential supplies for those in need.
Her passion, leadership, and commitment to giving back truly embody what it means to be a Husky, making the Sunshine State an even brighter place to be.
Thank you, Adrienne.
