Mentors share their expertise to help students strengthen their education, expand their networks, and plan their career paths. As a mentor, you’ll play a key role in supporting the next generation of UConn Business students and setting them up for success after graduation.

College of Liberal Arts & Sciences (CLAS)

  • Women face unique challenges as they enter the workforce and advance in leadership positions. The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is leveraging the power of women through this collective. Join a network of uplifting and powerful women by participating in a year-long mentorship program that aligns undergraduate CLAS students with mentors with similar career interests. You will have the ability to connect with other mentors and students through group mentorship circles and monthly meetings focused on key issues that affect women in the workplace and society.

  • This year-long program is an opportunity for alumni who were first generation CLAS students to provide guidance and support to current first generation CLAS students. From September to April, meet monthly with your paired student to discuss key issues in the workplace and use the skills, tools, and life lessons you’ve learned to help a student along in their journey.

School of Business

Support students through one of our mentorship programs by sharing your professional experiences, offering advice, and answering questions about career pathways, industries, and workplace realities. Additional opportunities include conducting resume reviews and hosting informational interviews.

Engage with students by judging or mentoring in case competitions, where teams tackle real-world business challenges. These events allow organizations to collaborate with students while giving students the chance to demonstrate their talent, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
