Joining UConn in 2007 as a faculty member, Professor of Pharmaceutics, Bodhisattwa Chaudhuri (Ph.D.), was inducted as a Fellow of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Sciences (AAPS) at its 2025 PharmSci 360 meeting on November 9th.
A testament to his sustained impact in the …pharmaceutical sciences, Chaudhuri was one of only eight fellows selected worldwide.

Jeffrey R. Newton ’13 ELP, Neag School alumnus and superintendent of East Lyme Public Schools, has been selected as the 2026 Connecticut Superintendent of the Year by the Connecticut Association of Public School Superintendents (CAPSS).
Newton is the third consecutive UConn Neag School …of Education alum to earn the honor, following Christine Carver ’91 (ED), ’97 MA, ’09 Ed.D. in 2025, and Joseph Macary ’94 (CLAS), ’05 ELP, ’16 Ed.D. in 2024.
