Office of Global Affairs Programs

UConn Global Affairs provides university-wide leadership to build and sustain global education at the University of Connecticut. We service international students and scholars; nurture strategic global partnerships; create and manage student, faculty, and staff mobility programs; promote collaborative international research; develop curricula to build global citizenship; and, deliver educational and professional services that support sustainable economic and social development. We are UConn’s gateway to the world and a bridge for innovative experiential learning. Global Affairs is also home to world-renowned human rights teaching, research, outreach, and programming, through the Human Rights Institute (HRI) and Dodd Human Rights Impact. HRI is a national leader in human rights research and teaching, with one of the largest interdisciplinary programs in the country, and the only public university offering a human rights major. Dodd Human Rights Impact, within HRI, advances human rights on campus and beyond with innovative outreach and engagement programs, including K-12 human rights education and business and human rights.
