Congratulations to UConn alumni Kathryn Morel ’18 (CLAS) and Ryan Gadea ’18 (ENG) on officially tying the knot.
Two graduate students from UConn Pharmacy, Leila Sharifi and Saeed Najafian, attended the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Annual Meeting in November, where they each received an award.
Najafian earned the First Place Academic Award, while Sharifi was honored with the …Pharmaceutical Discovery, Development, and Manufacturing (PD2M) Award.
Blanka Rogina, M.S., Ph.D., of the UConn School of Medicine has been newly elected vice president of the Gerontological Society of America (GSA). Rogina will serve a 1-year term in this national leadership position, beginning January 2026.
Former UConn Men’s Basketball player Caron Butler has been named to the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame Class of 2026.
