If you are seeking an elegant location to host an event, the UConn Alumni Center is open for rentals to the UConn Community. Please note that we no longer host weddings or wedding related events.
About the Alumni Center
Opened in 1989, the Alumni Center is a 25,000-square-foot showpiece facility that is one of the most magnificent buildings on the UConn Storrs Campus.
Dedicated on Homecoming Day 2001, the Alumni Center includes the Great Hall, Alumni Hall of Excellence, J. Robert Donnelly Husky Heritage Sports Museum, meeting rooms, and Foundation staff offices.

Great Hall
Two staircases create a dramatic entry into the Great Hall, which is an expansive, carpeted space with a full bar and long window bank looking out to the lawn.

Husky Heritage Museum
The Husky Heritage Sports Museum celebrates over a century of Husky athletic excellence with trophies, memorabilia, and interactive exhibits honoring UConn’s storied sports legacy.
Alumni Boardroom
The Alumni Boardroom is ideal for meetings and team conferences. It features flat-screen monitors with laptop connectivity, audio and teleconferencing capabilities

Great Hall Rate: $300 first 4 hours; $50 per hour(s) after the 4
- Monday – Saturday 8am to 10pm (cleanup must end by 11pm)
- Sunday 8am to 7pm (cleanup must end by 7pm)
Alumni Boardroom Rate: $75 first 4 hours; $25 per hour(s) after the 4
- Thursday – Sunday 8am to 10pm
Payment Methods; We do NOT accept KFS
- University Travel/Pro/ Credit Card
- You must fill out the Hotel and Event Services Form on HuskyBuy
- 1 week to pay invoice post event
- Event Insurance covered by the University
- PO (Purchase Order)
- Must submit a requisition in HuskyBuy; from there a PO # will be assigned payment
- 30 business days to pay invoice post event
- Event Insurance covered by the University
- Foundation Funds
- An internal transfer form will need to be signed by an authorized signatory of the fund you are using
- Event insurance will need to be purchased for this method
UConn Affiliates and Alumni
Affiliate: Groups who work with UConn but do not have a UConn Email; typically, are apart of another organization/ company
Great Hall Rate: $400 first 4 hours; $50 per hour(s) after the 4
- Monday – Saturday 8am to 10pm (cleanup must end by 11pm)
- Sunday 8am to 7pm (cleanup must end by 7pm)
Alumni Boardroom Rate: $75 first 4 hours; $25 per hour(s) after the 4
